Personality & Traits

General Overview		Kaemil is a very no-nonsense person. She is an excellent multi-tasker, being able to quickly and efficiently handle information. She is friendly, enjoying learning about each new species and culture she can. Kaemil views each new acquaintance as an opportunity to expand her horizons.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: Heightened senses due to a more highly developed and sensitive nervous system. Most of her physiology is more resistance to damage or injury due to the unique cellular structure. Keen interest in and knack for learning languages and cultures. Weaknesses: Her nervous system is very susceptible to injury particularly with energy currents. Recovering from injuries is much more difficult and takes longer than most species. Hand-to-hand combat and weapons handling are not her strong suits, she is mediocre at best in these areas.
Ambitions		Kaemil is not motivated by promotions or commendations. She is driven by her own internal sense of performing her job well and her insatiable curiosity. She is motivated more by experiences that expand her understanding of the universe and the people in it. As such, she doesn't have any driving desire to someday make a name for herself or be a commanding officer or anything of that sort.

Personal History		Kaemil was born on Shephal into the Relur caste. As such, she lived a very comfortable childhood, pursuing education as she explored what career she might one day enter into. She was fourteen when the Upheaval swept across her homeworld. The lower castes rose up in rebellion and riots broke out across the planet. Much of the Chidek and Relur castes were killed, though some managed to escape the planet. Kaemil's parents were killed, but she was rescued by an empathetic servant in their house, who smuggled her to a freighter. The freighter crew was assisting others in escaping the violence. While some of the refugees chose to live as nomads, the majority of them banded together to establish a colony on a small, uninhabited world within the boundaries of the Federation. Kaemil continued her education, eventually working her way into the position of Head of Logistics. In that position she served as the primary liason with the Federation. The more interaction she had with them, the more her curiosity about the outside world grew. And eventually, she left her colony to join Starfleet.
