| Description | Science Labs There are over one thousand separate scientific research labs located on Levels 35 and 36 as well as a conference room and offices for the Chief Science Officer and the Assistant Chief Science Officer. > All labs are specifically designed for adaptability. > Most science labs share the same design, only a few have extremely specialized equipment. > When necessary, the Engineering department can be contacted and the lab can be outfitted with equipment either in storage or replicated. > Other, even more specialized equipment can be brought on board by mission specialists and installed per approval of appropriate members of the Senior Staff. Note: Science has a station in the Operations Center on Level 8; this position does not have to be manned routinely, only when the need arises. |
