| Description | Located on Level 15, Mel's Cabaret is owned and operated by Melisandre D'Sai, a psychic, who can tell you things if you're willing to pay the price. There are live performances and between times, a karaoke setup. There's a good-sized stable with the band sitting on a raised platform to the left. There is a semi-circle of space around the stage for dancing and tables are clustered in a semi-circle around the dance floor. There are booths along the outer walls and its rumored, a VIP room. The rules are simple enough. Mel enforces strict neutrality in her establishment -- everyone is welcome as long as they behave. Deals are made here and a lot of information flows through her place; Mel is aware of everything. Being neutral herself, she sometimes helps and sometimes refuses to help. You never know until you ask. For a psychic reading, the petitioner must sing one song (karaoke). The wait staff and bartenders dress in black outfits, some more abbreviated than others, and there are bouncers at the door. |
