Mission: Mission 1: The Return to Faltan
Location: Tesyn village, Faltan
Timeline: MD08 - 2100

After the Tal Shiar's analysis had shown a transporter flare in a nearby forest and traces of a car from there to Tesyn village, they had concluded that this had to be the way how Nevala had been abducted. Telhas had decided to investigate personally. He had dressed in hooded robes, with the hood deep in his face. And he had prepared himself mentally for the task. Now he was here as nashinahru, the Vulcan term of an offensive psionic warrior. He was ready and willing to use his powers to full extend.

Tesyn City was a crappy place, at least the outskirts. So, this is what a slum looks like in reality, Telhas thought. Three young men approached him.

"You look rich!" one of them said.

Telhas could read his mind. They were going to rob him. Bow! He sent the thought into their brains, forceful and strong. Onto your knees and bow! Two obeyed, but the one who had talked did not, although he looked startled. Telhas focused on him and sent a wave of pain through his body. Onto your knees and bow! Now he also obeyed. "Did you see a car, three days ago? One with a group of thugs, and a hostage? A hostage not from this planet?"

"Yo dude...we see so many cars here...let us go man" The man replied with struggle towards the power that was unfamiliar to him.

"I have no time for that!" Telhas barked and closed the distance to the man. Touching the man's head with his hand he searched his mind for an image of Nevala. He did not care for any side-effects, he rather cross-read the memories without taking too much care to keep them intact. But the poor guy did not see Nevala. "Sorry, my friend." He left the confused guy and looked at the other two. One was back on his feet and tried to flee. "Oh no, you stay!" He sent a wave of pain to the guy's legs, which caused him to stumble and fall. But this time he made it easier. He sent an image of Nevala into the brains of the two. "Did you see her?"

Seeing the sent image in his head, he grabs to his head and puffs a few times for air "Yes, but I ...don't know where?" He mutters.

"Then you better remember, or I shall assist you remembering," Telhas hissed, as he was already intruding the man's mind and seeing the memory.

The man backs away as if he got scared of the man "I ...dont remember anything about her, only how she looks" The idea backfired at the Romulan, a mere image of his woman would not be enough to remember it.

"Down on your knees!" Telhas barked and forced the man down telepathically. "I have another question: Who in this area is powerful enough to kidnap a real big shot? With 'big shot' I mean someone like a government official of high rank. Any idea?"

He gets onto his knees as he looked at Telhas with great pain "That...is difficult to give ...answer to" He said with great effort on his side trying to focus "There are various....factions here...that have different agenda's....but one common goal"

"What is their goal? What are the factions named? Who are their local leaders?" Telhas eased the telepathic grip for a moment, just to tighten it again as he spoke purely telepathical Speak! I am losing my patience!

Going to the ground as he grabs to his head "Awww...." He screams out of pain "I don't know....I know only a few names ...Red Guards and Sacred Bones. But there are more....I don't know who else!!"

Telhas released the man's mind. "Thank you." He took a handful of strips of gold-pressed and threw to the ground in front of the guy. "For the inconvenience."

The man fell to the ground feeling a weight was lifted of his head and saw the gold-pressed strips on the floor and looked with painful eyes at Telhas "What ...or who are you..."

Telhas was about to leave when the man asked. He turned to him and spoke, both verbal and telepathical. "I am the paladin of the God of Anger. Long He slept, but now He is back. Oppose me, and you will feel his burning wrath!" He made the man feel a rise of temperature. It was only moderate, just like 20°C more, and a pure illusion, but those people were no match for a full-scale nashinahru.

The man dropped towards the floor and fainted with the strips in his hand. The ambassador had his information, but it only seemed a fraction of the information of Faltan real true face.

Telhas decided to stop his investigation for today, other thoughts started to dominate his mind anyway. They are no match. I am like a divine being for them. They fall on their knees by my command. They are no match! He smirked. Here I can put all my training into effect. Ket-Cheleb, I thank you for this opportunity. He left the village and went into the nearby desert where he found shelter in a cave. He would meditate there.
