Mission: Mission 2: Into The Breach
Location: Raeya III - Council HQ
Timeline: MD08 - 1230

Raeya III, a beautiful planet that is the main attraction for its exotic fruit and tourism was no lie by far. It was a great place to be and Dreyem admits that she liked the soft climate more than the hot climate at Faltan III. She was escorted to one of the meeting halls at the Council Dytaal HQ and noticed that she was one of the first. Taking a deep breath as she walked to the window looking at the lovely weather that was taking place before her very eyes. It was really like a holiday location to be.

Estella had planned on being early, as normal, to this meeting. She thought she would be early enough to be the first to arrive and would be able to think things through in silence as she waited for the others. Unfortunately, her hopes were dashed when her escort opened the door and she saw another there that could only be one person. “Taga,” she stated politely with a small nod before going to the window herself.

Hearing the voice, Dreyem shrugs a bit and yet did not turn around “Spencer” She formally replied with the notice that she was at her side “How is Union doing, I heard another factory closed doors and raids happening”

“You should know by now that I don’t discuss that type of thing, Taga. We have things under control.” Estella didn’t dare show her worry about exactly what Taga had mentioned, instead keeping it to herself.

A very diplomatic answer, typical answer and basically it was saying that it was her problem and not that fo Dreyem "You seem to forget the intention of the meeting? Come on Estalla, we are here to work together and hear common problems" It was only then that Dreyem looked at her.

Warner had planned to be fashionably late, as always, and thus was not surprised when he was the last to walk into the room. He clapped his hands together lightly and smiled broadly at the two women. "Ladies, I'm sorry to keep you waiting! I hope both your travels were quiet," he moved further into the room and put his hands on his hips. "Come now, this is not the time for sour looks!"

About ready to answer Taga, well, half answer, Estella was actually glad for the interruption, though not who it was. “Warner. You apologize for keeping us waiting every time, you do know that, right?” She made her way over to her seat and sighed. “Dreyem? I know the intentions of the meeting, but that doesnt’t mean I want to go into some of those things.”

Signing at that, Dreyem smirks at Warner “Fashionable late as always... would you mind?” She sat down and waited for Warner to secure the room. Dreyem knew that this meeting was different then others. Normally they meet, discuss the matters that requires their attention then leave. But this was different. They needed to discuss something in length and Dreyem didn’t know their standing in the matter.

Warner flashed Estella his winning smile, but it faded slowly as Dreyem spoke. "Yes, yes, my dear," he said in the jovial tone he knew bothered her most. Then he walked over to the wall panel beside the door and tapped in his code to lock down the room. He then made his way to the table and took a seat, leaning back in his chair with left ankle propped on his right knee.

The room became secured as Dreyem looked at Estella “Dear, it is our concern as i’m going to be open book with both of you, I expect the same” She pressed a chip into a holo device as the ship in the joint operation of scientific research came in sight “The Icarus incident of two days ago...” she leans back in her chair.

Falling into her chair, Estella wished she had a drink. “Yes..I have not slept since. Of course this caused some of raids as well...though not everyone obviously knows everything that happened.”

"Hmmm... yes." Warner dropped the happy facade and let a rare frown come through. He tapped the table with the fingers of his right hand. "The meddlesome fools who blew themselves and our ship up..."

Giving a nod to the man “Sadly the Icarus survived and Starfleet is bugging me about it ever since it happened and it was close to your system Stella” Dreyem smirks looking at her fellow governor “But we are here because the interference of Starfleet are getting exhausting”

Ignoring the ‘Stella’ remark, Spencer slammed her hand on the table. “Icarus survived?! No wonder they are trying to bother me as well. I’ve been buried in meetings and paperwork the last two days and hadn’t even looked.” She took a deep breath. “How the hell do we get them off our backs this time?”

"We should feign ignorance," Warner dropped his leg and leaned forward. "Say we have nothing on the books that matches what they were seeing and we'll look into any potential involvement of our people," he said shortly. He hated when Estella got angry, the scowl she held always marred that beautiful face of hers. "You have plenty of practice with that, Dreyem," he said, raising and eyebrow and smirking. "Any pointers for Estella and me on how to lie to Starfleet without raising their suspicions?"

Shaking her head “Lies are not required, Starfleet gave us the perfect example to get rid of them once and for all. We entered an research joint operations to see if there were different ways of travel”. She rose slightly her hand as Dreyem continues “They were warned by the captain two times not to intervene as the area was not theirs to begin with” she lowered her hand “They choose to ignore our warning and intervene and even shot at our ship”

"So they ignore the warnings, of course they do. This is Starfleet we're talking about. Since when does Starfleet shoot after a warning but aren't shot at?" Estella pushed away from the table but didn't get up. "I've told them I want them out of my damned backyard but they won't." Her eyes shifted to the two of them. "Do we have a plan? This was out of hand long ago."

“Their official statement... we intervene due to illegal slipstream researching” Dreyem smirks “Illegal while they say this, I got a bit of bitterness in the back of my throat as if they control this space. Basically their explanation was a statement Not your backyard sugar” She smiles a bit awkwardly at Estella.

Estella pinched the bridge of her nose. "I heard that too. I chose to ignore it, as they have no claims to anything. But if they are wanting to push the situation, I can push right back."

"What makes them think they have the right to govern our space? We don't interfere with them, why should they care?" Warner said bitterly. "They cause twice the damage that we ever would, and yet they think they're better than us?"

Taking a deep breath “That is actually the goal of today’s meeting. My fellow governors and friends “ Dreyem said with a smile while placing her hands on each other “I want to make a stand, a stand against the idealism of Starfleet propaganda. Icarus was the last line they crossed. This is Raeya Sector Block. It is our home, we got our economical standings and they fly around as if they own the place”

"Do you seriously think they will back off if we try to take a stand against them?" Estella got up and started pacing. "Since when does Starfleet back down?"

Warner watched Estella pace and smirked. She always was the more hot headed of them, and it amused him when she got so upset over things. He looked to Dreyem now and raised an eyebrow. "And what is it that you're proposing?" he decided it was best to leave out any pet names this time, while Estella was hot headed, Dreyem abhorred the pet names he gave her and he didn't feel like being verbally abused this time.

“An alliance, between our planets, we can work out our differences, yet we all have one common goal. Starfleet has to go and with our alliance we make a stand and say no more!” Dreyem spoke up with passion “are you with me?”

Hearing the passion ins Dreyem's voice allowed Estella to calm down. She was right, of course. They'd always have their differences but it was time to put those aside in that moment. Leaning against the back of her chair, she pushed her hair out of her face and sighed. "You're right, Dreyem. Much as I hate to admit it. You both know I don't like agreeing to set aside our differences." She looked to the two of them at the table. "They think they can push us around just because we have this area of space that they want, try to force our hands to give it to them. I won't give up my home to them."

"While I would love to agree with you," Warner said with an air of aloofness. "I shall have to take this to the Council. They will likely want to hear your sides of the matter as well," he turned on his noble disarming charm on and leaned forward. "I will ensure they vote to agree however."

Smirking at Warner “Knowing you, I don’t doubt it. Seeing how the Randa Prime situation was handled and the Hawkeye Island operations of Starfleet withdraws after the sudden attack that resulted in the death of their queen” Dreyem knew what was going on in the RSB and knew it would piss Warner off “But an agreement is a good first set. We will await Raeya Dytaal Council and take it from there”

Looking to Dreyem, Estella shook her head. "Whatever they are doing in that council, they better do it fast. I'm sick of Starfleet trying to knock on my door every second. I can only hold them off for so long." She finally say back down, eyes glancing to Warner for likely a moment too long. She shook her head somewhat clear. "Do we know how long they will take in that damned meeting?"

Warner sneered at Dreyem. "I had nothing to do with that council meeting. I was off world," he leaned back in his chair and smirked at her now. "In fact, I do believe I was paying you a personal visit at that time," he said matter-of-factly before turning to Estella. His playboy charming grin came back when he realized her eyes were lingering on him. "I will try to make it a rush matter, but you know how old stuffy politicians and noblemen are. Full of hot air they like to express at great length," he sighed.

“That brings the arrangement to the alliance at a delay of a month, but we can start preliminary meetings to get a first draft on the table. Until that time we got to swallow Starfleet actions and gather all their incidents together to pin them as much as possible” Dreyem said calmly, it was not the outcome she hoped as like the others, immediate action spoke more than delayed actions.

Estella caught Warner's look but didn't respond to it, not where they were. "So you mean I actually have to talk to them?" Her voice almost was a whine but still angry. "And I have to keep my cool with them too, don't I?"

“With recent events at Union, I wouldn’t be surprised that they will offer help in name of good faith. Scoop are baiting them to act as well with the recent raids in your space “ Dreyem was actually amusing herself at Estella struggles and yet sighs “So yes be nice, for now”

"Fine, I'll play nice with them. Record everything, do whatever they say." Estella's eyes glared at Dreyem, "within reason."

Warner couldn't help but smirk at this interaction between the two. He loved these meetings. Not only did he get to spend time with two beautiful women, he got to watch them banter and piss each other off. "Well, then, now that that is settled," he grinned devilishly. "I should away to council to expedite this motion to ally ourselves." Though he said this, he made no motion to stand or leave the room. "Unless you lovely ladies would like to join me for a late lunch first?"

Dreyem almost wanted to roll her eyes “I sadly have to decline, I got Starfleet poking around at my planet and I rather be there to keep a close eye on them” Dreyem spoke as she stood up “ I look forward to the good news “ she stated in a formal tone to Warner and nodded to Estella and made her way to the exit.

Groaning slightly as she was left with Warner, Estella gave a polite nod to Dreyem when she left. "My shuttle doesn't leave for a few hours, as much as I hate to say it, so it looks like you have a lunch date." She glared at him slightly, not daring to let a smile cross her face. But her eyes did linger again.

"Well, then, my dear Miss Spencer," he tamed the cheshire grin down to a version of his normal charming smile. "I know a wonderful little place to have an exotic bite," he said as he stood and waited for her to do so as well. He held out his arm, bent slightly, for her to take it.

Rolling her eyes slightly, Estella got up and took his arm. "You're eyes have been wandering, my dear Warner. Don't think I didn't notice."

Before leading her from the room, Warner chuckled and leaned in to kiss her cheek. "It is my nature, bunny, don't forget that," he whispered before straightening up. "And we've not committed solely to each other as of yet, so they will wander," he added. He then led her from the room, knowing she couldn't say anything outside it for fear of others hearing of the true nature of their relationship.
