Mission: Mission 6 - Candy Leads to Cavaties
Location: FNS Headquarters on Faltan Station
Timeline: MD01 - 1300

The music started. As had now become the custom, her introductory background blared, "I Want Candy," sung by Bow Wow Wow. Candy's head bobbed to the music happily until all the lights fully hit her. Dramatically, she shook her head to the side and all of her long blonde hair obediently swished behind her, as if it was all on a string.

She paused for a solid moment as she looked straight into the camera, her dark brown eyes drawing her viewers in. "Good afternoon, my name is Candy Templeton and I am bringing you the Sweet Truth."

"The situation on the planet Faltan has been getting increasingly tense over the past few weeks. Just three weeks ago, Governor Taga announced that a master criminal Velric Thol on the loose. Some of the populace retaliated against searches, claiming that Taga was only using the naming of a master criminal as a ruse for conducting military style searches and seizures of people and property. To date, Velric Thol has not been reported as captured.

"In response to Taga's searches, some Falteans have taken to arms." In the background, a picture of a number of Falteans appeared with masks covering their faces so they could not be identified. The News blurred out the eyes to make identification next to impossible. All of the Falteans were armed. However, what was readily apparent to anyone in Starfleet was that the Falteans appeared to be holding Federation issued weapons.

"These Falteans are calling for a revolution and have dubbed themselves the 'Faltan Freedom Force' or 'Triple F' and are gathering a larger following with every day that Taga continues her military searches on the populace. Will Faltan fall into chaos and bloodshed? Only time will tell. However, with the Union amassing a larger fleet of ships and Kharvos Prime starting to do the same, one must wonder if all of these activities are interrelated. Of course, I will continue my coverage of these developments and give you the Sweet Truth. This has been Candy Templeton reporting."

The lights went dark and Candy sighed a large sense of relief. Finally, there was worthwhile news to report. If only she had someone to celebrate it with.
