Mission: Mission 1: The Return to Faltan
Location: Faltan Station - Intelligence deck
Timeline: MD07 - 1121

The intelligence deck was quite busy and still quiet, the information from the Crystal Fruits had done well for Faltan operations as the land was slowly shaping. Suddenly both Akoni and Sarah holograms appear in operation center "Chief on deck!" An enlist replied as Sarah waved her hand to stand down "I need a sitrep on the status here" She replied crossing her arms over each other as she looked around the room stopping her eyes at an Ensign "You, rank and name?"

Standing slightly behind and to the side of her, his hands in the pockets of his black leather jacket, Akoni took in the ensign, a deep and serious look in his eyes as he waited for her to respond.

Cosantior glanced up, "Cosantior, Shannon, Ensign." She replied politely as her mental files identified her new Intelligence Chief.

Looking at Cosantior "Right, well welcome towards Faltan Intelligence Operations. I have not had the time to read your profile, but what are your skills that can be of use here at Faltan?" Sarah asked and waited.

There was a brief pause as Shannon considered her wording then she began, "I am trained and have experience in cyptocommunications both securing and hacking. As well as Computer Security both offensive and defensive techniques. I am familiar with all Starfleet Intelligence specialized equipment in regards to operation and repair up to my Security Clearance Level." She paused to take a breath then continued, "I am also qualified in general analysis, regular equipment repair, mission support and am in the middle of getting my small craft pilot qualifications."

She paused again, "I have familiarity with the technology used by the Klingons, Romulans, Orions, Federation and the Ferengi." In fact, one of her favorite games was to find new ways to hack different computer systems. She did stop here for reaction, sometimes when she rattled things off people got annoyed or their eyes glazed over. That and she tried to keep it to the most salient points.

Nodding towards her "That is quite a skill list you got" Sarah said looking at Akoni and wondering what he thought about her as she looked back at Shannon "So why did you pick Faltan Station? I mean you could have picked Starfleet Intel HQ with those skills"

"I had been." She replied, "until they decided they needed me here. I am not privy to their complete reasoning." She had been working well at Starfleet HQ in fact right from the Academy. When the new assignment came down she was reliably told by a friend she trusted who worked for personnel that it was not a punishment detail but that they really needed to beef up the intel station here. For why or what her friend couldn't or wouldn't say.

"Right, sounds like Starfleet alright" Sarah rubs the back of her head "I need you to get custom with the Faltan tech and their behavior of speech and such. Use the data that was picked up by our information broker in the field" Sarah orders and looked at the rest "Get the data encryption going and filed. Questions?!"

"Understood as long as the information I am to review is in the standard locations I have no questions at this time though I may ask later if that is acceptable Ma'am?" She replied as she quietly considered what kind of boss this new Chief will be.

Nodding towards the Ensign "That is acceptable, just get me results Ensign" She said and looked at Akoni "We got to go back into the field" She stated and looked at the rest "Continue the work and report as soon as you can with results when I am back." With that, the two signed off from the platform.
