The party continued and spirits were high. Candy was socializing and clinging onto Connor, somewhat to his chagrin. His mind and body fought each other constantly when it came to her. The music for FNS come across all the comms and videos turned on everywhere except at the party as it started. Candy looked at her chronometer and wondered why her broadcast was not showing at the party.

There was Candy behind her desk. She paused for a solid moment as she looked straight into the camera, her dark brown eyes drawing her viewers in. "Good evening viewers. My name is Candy Templeton and I am bringing you the Sweet Truth."

She continued after a short pause, "Activity in the Raeyan Sector Block has hit new high levels of activity. There are rumors that Union is amassing a fleet of ships for launch and that their military is on high alert. What could this mean for Faltan Station or the security of the block? Is this a reaction to marines having a presence on the station? Only Union knows.

In other news, the Industrial Council on Grendok IV has authorized their first test warp capable flight. Will this result in a new power for the Raeyan Sector Blcok, or will their efforts fail? As they are not yet a warp capable species, the Federation has not been in contact with them, but my contacts indicate that they are aware of the Federation's presence, as well as Faltan, Raeya, and Union.

Archon Virex Tal, the ruler of Kharvos Prime, announced that 'Union's hostile activies must cease. They have to stop blocking access to the gateway. It belongs to nobody. We are sending ships to defend our territories and will not abide by Union's hostilities. Should they choose to interrupt our trade, then we will take all necessary action to defend our freedom to trade with the universe.'"

Candy then shifted in her seat and firmly grinned at the screen as she announced, "Governor Taga has announced a planetary search for the master criminal Velric Thol. He is accused of treason and when caught will be summarily tried for his crimes."

She then put on a more pleasant smile and said, "Thank you for tuning in and listening to me, Candy Templeton and the Sweet Truth." Music played and the comms and videos went silent.

The time having past for her broadcast, Candy frowned. She suspected one person would have done this and she was going to personally throttle him.
