Orbital Control Station Three One, Cardassia Prime
The light from distant stars reflected on the hull of the newly minted CUS Meeka. A sleek Veras Class ship, she made her way silently out of the drydock section of of the Orbital Control Station Three One.
The ship turned about and moored to the upper section of the vast military installation. The crowd that was assembled in the stations observation deck applauded the spectacle. A fine ship for a empire rebuilding.
Bridge, CUS Meeka
Gul Reskat stood from his command seat and peered around his bridge. Although this would be his only voyage with the Meeka before joining Ambassador Kejaad’s staff , he had to admit Meeks certainly was a fine ship. He was honored to command such a fine ship, despite how short his command would be.
"Status." He called from his elevated perch.
"Ambassador Kejaad is coming aboard now, her cargo is being loaded." a young Gorr called from his station at the fore section of the bridge. "We should be ready to depart in a few minutes Gul."
"The Station signals clear to depart as soon as we are loaded sir." A female Cardassian called from an aft station.
"Outstanding." Reskat said, returning to his seat.
VIP Quarters, CUS Meeka
Rakena entered the palatial cabin, and her eyes widened. "I had no idea they had this type of luxury aboard." She said, awestruck.
Her aide, Korin, followed in close behind. "Built to the highest specifications."
Lowering herself into a lush looking chair, Rakena let out a sigh of relief. "Well Cental Command hascertainly has outdone themselves ." She leaned back, making herself comfortable.
A small chirp came from Korin’s bag. He reached in, producing a handheld communicator. The thin Cardassian man held it to his ear. A moment passed and he closed it. "All of your belongings are aboard, we are getting underway now."
Supressing a yawn, the Ambassador said, "Wake me when we arrive will you?"
Another chirp erupted from the communicator, Korin listened a moment.
"Ma’am, Consul Kreev wishes to speak before departure."
Rakena sighed, "Put him through."
Korin clicked some controls on the wall viewscreen, before departing the room.
The screen filled with the image of a sly looking Cardassian man.
"Madam Ambassador." He said, with a venomous smile.
"Consul. To what do I owe the pleasure?" Rakena said with mock interest, her eyelids heavy
"I knew you would be getting underway, and thought you might like an update on the Embassy.” Kreev consulted a PADD. “ Primary construction is complete, finishes for the grand parlour arrive from Betazed tomorrow, and the Aldebaran ship with the textiles you requested as well as the other... cargo... you ordered with arrive the following day.”
Rakena waved at the screen. “Yes, thank you Kreev.” She reached for controls on a nearby table. “Kejaad out.” She abruptly terminated the channel and stoo. She crossto the bed chamber and quickly lowered herself onto the bed.

Gul Reskat sat comfortably in the centre seat of the Cardassian bridge
"We are loaded sir." came the voice of a young Gorr from an adjacent station.
"Clear all moorings." Reskat commanded.
"Mooring cleared." came a voice in response.
"Set course to Federation Faltan Station." the Gul called out, once more returning to his seat.
"Course set."
"Engage at Warp Six." Reskat said settling into his chair as the ship jumped to warp.
