Crystal Fruits: The Minecamp

Mission: Mission 1: The Return to Faltan
Location: Jaifnard
Timeline: MD05 - 13:00/22:35

The sun was hot and blazing down the desert setting of a city that was close towards the mountains. Jaifnard a city that was known on Faltan for its mineral operations, one of the three largest mining operations on the planet actually. Jaifnard was, therefore, a rich trading hub to get the latest minerals and valued rocks. The streets were crowded, but men with red suits uniforms were stationed corridors at the gate.

MainGate> Leaning back against the stone fountain as Sarah felt the heated sun on her face 'Damn this heat...' She mutters as she looked at the sound of cars coming in and stopping close at her spot. She smiled "Good, they are here..."

MainGate>Charlottle got out of her vehicle and sauntered over to her boss. "Boss," she said simply, giving the other woman a nod.

MainGate>Getting out of one of the vehicles, Akoni readjusted his shoulder bag filled with various fruit. Having glanced at the others, started walking towards her. His face serious as usual.

MainGate>The Bolian got out of the passenger side of the one of the vehicles, pulled on his backpack and moved towards the CO, “S’up?”

MainGate>Arriving, Akoni nodded to Sarah, "You're looking well." thinking 'all things considered'.

MainGate> "Skylar, Dave and James, good to have you here all. We are going to set shop down the street soon. However before we go. I have a choice for you to make. Its a business deal that we can't simply ignore" Sarah said in her role as miss Salvatory, the business woman that was always eager to sell her fruits "Gather around..." She waited for her people to get around her as she leans on the fountain and smiled at them.

"As you might have noticed is that the streets are filled with red uniforms. These are Red Guards, old militia and know there game. The target however is what James had found" She looked at him

MainGate> Dave looked towards James expectantly.

MainGate> Akoni nodded, "We came across some information, an encryption file. It translated as manifest of supplies that comes and goes from the city towards a Red Guard mining camp. It appears it hasn't only been supplies. People have been transported there too.

MainGate>”People?” Asked Dave. “As in our missing admin team?”

MainGate> Possibly" Akoni replied, "no names were given."

MainGate> Charlotte had a bored look on her face until people were mentioned, then she leaned in closer. "So, are we going to be going to that mining camp? What supplies have they been getting?"

MainGate> Waited to hear her Bolian friend speak "Plausible, we are not certain however" feeling a breeze through her hair"But I want to give you guys two options we can explore. One we go towards the mining camp now and try to talk our ways in, maybe Skylar can finally do her dance to seduce the soldiers. Or we go there at night and infiltrate our style, which is more my dare in the matter"

MainGate> Looking at Skylar "Fair question, I did some pre-scouting, I do have to say that there are some high official staff members there. So documents we need are there"

MainGate> “Night would be better.” The Bolian said glancing at Skyar, “I have more faith in our infiltration skills than her seduction skills.”

MainGate> "Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean I can't seduce a few guards," Charlotte quipped. "That last mission was going great until you bungled up the drinks."

MainGate>The Bolian's remark actually put a smile on Akoni's face.

MainGate> Signing at that "Urg...lets not begin over the drinks, I barely saved both your asses that time" Sarah pointed as she facepalmed herself a bit thinking back to that scene.

MainGate> The Bolian rolled his eyes, he was never going to live that down.

MainGate>"There was more", Akoni now said, "Based on what we've learned so far, it's likely there are other documents there, possibly of their deployments and operations. I think night would be better too."

MainGate> Looking at Skyler "So are we going then for the night or do you another opinion in this? I am open for both actually" Sarah said looking at her side seeing some children play on the street 'Children playing on the street as if nothing is going on....why does it make me feel as the bad guy sometimes?' She thought as she looked back at her group.

MainGate> "Night would probably be best," Charlotte agreed. "But I still think at least getting them drunk beforehand would be beneficial."

MainGate> Akoni thought about it, she did have a point.

MainGate> "A wealthy gift for great services towards this wonderful city. I like your cunning idea Skylar, I will make a deal with the traders here to sent some barrels.. Get ready for night operations and place your mask on, I don't want to cause another intergalactic incident" Sarah smiled with a smirk towards Dave.

MainGate> “Drunk makes it easy. Should have stayed in bed.” The Bolian said shaking his head.

ACTION The day passed by as the Mine camp had indeed received barrels of good drinks to celebrate the services that the Red Guards had provided towards the people of this city.

Forrest> Soldiers singing and drinking was heard from far. But something was shuffling through the bushes as Sarah kneels to one knee and looked at the camp "Your plan has worked Gregory, did not expect it to work actually as they are former militia"

Forest> “What’s the entry plan?” Dave asked not wanting to dwell on the drunk plan working.

Forrest> Charlotte came to stop next to Dufrai and grinned. "Militiamen are the first to get drunk," she pointed out.

Forrest>Having to do with their conversation, Akoni glanced over them briefly before turning his attention back towards the camp. Knowing how all types come to Risa, he wasn't surprised.

Forrest> She points to the side "Emergency exit, due the plan of Gregory the guards have lessen to mere one. Enjoy the evening I guess. We go there and that would be our opening into the camp" Sarah said looking at her team "Now Forr, please be careful..."

Forest> “Careful is my middle name.”

Forrest> Charlotte snorted, but then contained herself. She decided to give the blue guy a break and didn't make any further quips. After casting a grin at Dufrai and Kapule, and a wink to Forr, she slid her mask down and started picking her way through the shrubs toward the emergency exit.

Forrest> "Lets move, Gregory, front, Forr you go last" Sarah orders and waves forward

Forest>Ready, Akoni nodded and started following behind Charlotte

Forest> Dave nodded as he pulled his mask down.

ACTION Gregory makes some good moves and manage to avoid detection smoothly, followed by Kapulé and Dufrai that stand at the side of the wall waiting for Forr to get closer. However suddenly a light jumps on and part of Forr leg is seen. Camera detection has alerted the tower guard!
Wall> "Shit.... give me a break..." Sarah cursus and looks at Kapulé "Get him out of that light! Go!" She orders silently. Looking at Charlotte "We got to deal with the guard, seduction, hand combat or phaser...I would ask you not to do the last one ...or might flee the scene already!"

Wall> "Seduction won't work when he's on alert..." she muttered, thinking through her options. "Hand to hand it is..." Quickly, she moved toward the guard, doing her best to keep low and quiet. Once she was close enough, she leveled a high kick at his temple.

Forest>With a grim expression, his body lowered, Akoni rushes over, grabbing the Bolian and pulls him away.

Guard>Wall> "Huh...what the!"Jumping backwards as he felt the edge of the shoe pass his face "Who are you!"

Wall> Sliding behind the guard and grabs him at the neck choking him slowly "Shhh...go to sleep..." Sarah mutters feeling the guard struggle at that trying to gasp to air. Pulling the body in and towards some supplies to cover him up "move!"

Forest> they're now both crouched down behind some foliage, watching for the moment...

Wall> Charlotte signaled to Kapule and Forr to move forward. Then, angry with herself for missing the kick, she followed Dufrai to assist in covering the guard.

Forest> “This is why I don’t go last!” The Bolian whispered

Forest> Akoni motions to Forr, "Okay, let's go..." and hurries towards the other two.

Storage area> Searching the guard pockets not finding anything useful as she was kneeling looking at her team "Stop being reckless Forr" Sarah growls a bit as she looked at her side hearing the people still sing and yell happy "The beer still works thank god"

Storage area> As she speaks, Akoni starts looking around at the shelters, and what may be where they need to go next.

Storage area> Taking a deep breath "Okay Forr you stay here, we need a clean exit. Gregory we need to make a choice. I see a Staff house over there, workers house there and the mine itself is there" Pointing at the directions "what would be smart?" She needed a third view in her own opinion.

Storage area> Charlotte weighed the options. Worker's house probably wouldn't contain any of the documents they were searching for. Staff house might, and so might the mine if there were offices there. "I'd say staff house stands a better chance at having the documents."

Storage area>Akoni nodded, "I agree."

Storage area> Struggling with that "That was my thought also, but the lights are still on there so there are people working" She pointed out "The information is something we need, lets go" Sarah moved forward towards the staff house as stayed in the dark as much as possible passing the house window with light hearing voices as one opens the window letting Sarah freeze and wave her left hand to the others to stand down.
Muzos>Staff house> "The men are getting a blast there, but I guess the barrels did come in time Commander...the people needed a well earn break from it all"

Ivico> Staff House> A voice from in the room came "Yes Muzos, you are right..but still I find it strange that we suddenly got it. It feels off...I don't know why"

Storage area>Akoni looked over at Sarah at their voices, waiting for what she wanted themm to do next, considering.

Muzos> Staff house> Nodding towards that as he turns towards the inside of the room "Don't freak out Ivico, you are to tense these days...."

Storage area> Charlotte had been about to follow Dufrai when she waved them down. She listened carefully to the men talking, hoping they would move on quickly.

Staff House>Looking up at the window seeing the man had turned as she looked at the others and gave a slight nod to the side. Sarah slowly moves forward pass the staff house wall towards the back.

Storage area> Charlotte saw the signal to move and tapped Kapule on the shoulder before carefully moving foward, making sure to stick to the shadows. With one eye on the window, she did her best to stay out of the men's sight and get to the back with Dufrai.

Staff House>Akoni pulled out a small pouch and set to work picking the lock, carefully.

Staff house> leaning against the wall as both Charlotte and Sarah waited for Akoni to pick the lock. She placed her hand on Akoni to stop as Sarah looked at the window seeing a light pass by. Nodding to Akoni to continue as she removed her hands looking at her side to the light.

Staff House>Akoni set back to work, not surprised it would be as easy as it was. Finished, he moved more to the side, giving her a look that he was.

Staff house> Sliding the window open as Sarah climbs into it. She touches the floor carefully and moved quickly forward towards the next room that was dark and empty. Sarah looked around the corner to keep everything in check.

Staff House>Getting the signal the room was clear, Akoni moved past her and to a door on the other side of the room.

Staff house> Waiting on Charlotte to get in as Sarah looks at them giving three fingers up, stating three people are present at the house. Two fingers towards the room they past earlier and one finger she twist around as sign of walking guard. Sarah smirks "Look around..." She orders.

Staff house> After making sure the coast was still clear, Charlotte followed Dufrai and Kapule into the house. When given the order to look around, she indicated she would go right down the hall to the next room in that direction.

ACTION While searching the rooms, the guard notice a strange noise from one of them and choses to investigate. He walks towards it and spots LTGregory[IO] "Stop!" The noise was so loud that the Commander and his assistant came out as well.

Staff house> Swearing under her breath, Charlotte moved back from the desk she was searching. "I'm shorry," she giggled, forcing herself to sound drunk. "I wash jusht looking for a bathroom...." she did a little dance, acting like her bladder was very full. "Where am I?"

Guard>Staff house> Smirks "Stand down! Identify yourself" He switch on the light seeing that she was wearing a mask and grabs quickly to his pistol.

Ivico> Staff house> "What is the meaning of this all!" He barks as he enters the room seeing the woman in gear "Who are you!"

Staff House>In another room nearby, Akoni continued searching for another desk, coming upon a locked drawer, he started working on it, hearing all the commotion.

Staff house> Charlotte groaned. Why did they always have to reach for a gun? "I'm a ghost," she responded simply, moving back toward the window, making sure they didn't have a clear shot on her. "Just looking for someone to haunt."

Staff house> Sliding her knife slowly into the neck of the Commander, Sarah smirks as she looked at Kapulé to take down the other guy behind her. The assistant of the Commander was grabbing his rifle.

Muzos>Staff House>"Commander I am coming!" He spoke out hearing weird sounds from the other room as if someone just dropped to the floor "Commander?"

Staff house> Charlotte watched as the guard moved forward, trying to get a shot. When he'd moved beyond the door frame, she vaulted forward, using the desk to gain height as she did a forward flip and came to land on the guard's shoulders, knees wrapped tightly around his shoulders, face shoved into her abdomen. His muffled cry was cut off when she made a quick movement and snapped his neck.

Staff House>Akoni had left the room he was in, surprising the man from behind, and before he could think about it, twisted and broke the man's neck. Stunned he had done so for a moment before moving into the room. He looked at the other two and then the men on the floor.

Staff house> Sarah looked at the bodies and shrugs as she switch the light off "Lets move, get the information. Kapulé go towards the room and try to find some information that is useful" Sarah kneels down to the commander and searches his pockets.

Staff House>Akoni pulled out a data chip out of his pocket. "I already have"

Staff House> Pulling out some ID cards and keys as she looked at them "Good, use the computer to look at it Lieutenant" She orders 'These might be useful on the long run...hmmm'

Staff house> Charlotte shuddered slightly, she still hadn't gotten used to taking a life, despite doing it many times. She went back to the desk and continued searching the drawers. She pulled a notebook from the bottom left drawer and a loose paper fluttered out, landing in the blood pooling on the floor from the Commander's wound. "Found some really old school notes on the guard," she called, moving forward to pick up the sheet that fell and facepalmed. "But their deployment roster is covered in blood..."

Staff House> Not having had the chance to before, all things considered, he moved next to her and leaned forward towards the computer there on the desk, that was already powered on, inserting the chip in the process.

Staff house> This operation was not going as well as Sarah had hoped, she shrugs and nodded "It's okay, leave it there and take the other information with you. Kapulé you got something?" Sarah asked as she stood up

Staff House> moving his fingers on the keys, his eyes widening, Akoni nodded, "The location of the people that were brought here. They're in the mines."

Staff House> Blinks and looked at the direction of Kapulé "They got hostages? So the intel was right...I'l be damned...lets move towards the mines right now" Sarah orders as she moved carefully towards the window and exits the Staff room.

Staff House> "Okay...", he backed out of the computer quickly, yet carefully removing the chip, as there was a lot more information on it, and headed out of there.

Staff house> Hearing that they did have hostages made Charlotte's eyes go wide. She wanted to say something, but couldn't think of much more than a few swear words. Instead, she followed Dufrai out through the window.

Outside> Moving towards the mines, she kneels once again looking at the mines that was not guarded "Where are the guards..." She mutters as she looked at the direction of the drinking party and narrowed her eyes "Would they be that stupid?"

Outside> Charlotte stopped just behind Dufrai. "I don't like this," she whispered.

Outside>Akoni didn't like it either and he started looking more around them

Outside> "But the oppertunity is right there...take the risk?" Sarah mutters and looked at them.

Outside> "I don't particularly want to," Charlotte admitted, "but we need to find out if it's the missing admin team or not. Want to or not, I think we have to take the risk."

Outside>"I think One of us needs to stay out here as backup, just in case." Akoni added.

ACTION Charlotte and Sarah enters the mines carefully and on guard, while Kapulé stayed on guard outside. But no guards were found as they enter the inner side of the mine, crying was heard and the awful side was seen. Metal cages with people in it, elderly, young women and even teenagers. Charlotte eyes would soon fall on some starfleet clothing, wounded personnel of the Administrative team was found.

Outside>With his weapon ready, Akoni continued to watch the entrance and surrounding area.

Mines> Charlotte's eyes went wide when they landed upon the Starfleet uniforms. She motioned to Dufrai, using hand signals to state she'd found the missing admin team. She didn't dare speak aloud, still feeling like something was wrong and guards were lurking somewhere.

Mines> Walking into the light as she heard the people crawl away out of fear as Sarah looked away "The smell..." She mutters it was like these people were left here to fetch for themselves.

Mines> Charlotte turned to Dufrai, standing in the light. "Looks like they've been caged here for a while," she said quietly.

Outside>although he was alert, Akoni ran a hand down over his face, as time seem to crawl. Knowing he had just killed someone was heavy on his mind.

Mines> Nodding towards that "Check on them" She waved towards the administrative team as taps the side of her ear =^= Hawk we got the prisoners and the administrative team...extraction will commence=^= Sarah spoke as she walked towards the cage and looked at the fear faces as she slams the door lock and breaks it "You don't have to be afraid...we are here to take you away...." She offers her hand.

Outside>Exhaling a breath, Akoni tapped his in return, =^=Understood=^= barely heard. He was looking forward to when he could meditate back at the station, maybe to convince himself again that it was all worth it. Deep down, he knew it was.

Mines> Charlotte moved toward the cage holding the admin team. How they were going to get this many people out without alerting the guards was beyond her. She took a quick headcount, twelve in all, they looked rough. "Shhh... no need to fear," she held her hands up as one woman was about to scream. "We're on your side," she quickly picked the lock, not having the same ability to break locks as her boss. "Can you walk?" She watched as each of them stood and nodded. "Ok, carefully... oof!" Charlotte was cut off when one smaller woman latched onto her, squeezing her chest and making it hard to breath. "Loosen your grip... it's ok... there we go..."

Mines> Starting to move people towards the exit "Easy, quiet....following our directions and everything be okay" Sarah said as she looked at Charlotte "Go to Kapulé and starting moving towards Forr location" Sarah taps again the side of her helmet =^=Jimbob, get to the forrest, people are coming your way escort them to the merchant convoy and load them up for travel. Greyfox out=^= She looked into the mines and saw a child barely able to stand as she walked in and carries the little girl "Come on, stay with me"

Mines> Charlotte nodded and turned to the admin team. "Ok, follow me, stick to the shadows. If I hold my hand up, you stop immediately," she sounded like a mother speaking to scared children. Once they'd all nodded, she started moving forward, the small woman still clinging to her.

ACTION How surprising it was towards the Crystal Fruits team, it was quite easy to escort the prisoners out of the mining camp. Basically, because the soldiers were drunk and not caring, the command staff was taken out and the guard at the side was still KO. This was a major blow towards Red Guard operations, but Crystal Fruits has saved the Administrative team and exit the area safely.
