The Return to Faltan

Mission: Mission 1: The Return to Faltan
Location: 2km’s outside of Faltan Station
Timeline: MD09 - 0345 Hours

The ride was long and the people in the convoy were tired of traveling so long. But it was the only way to keep a low profile from the Faltan's Red Guards patrols that were seeking them. They had to take a few detours to avoid them as best as they could, but Faltan Station was getting in view. Soon they would be home again and be done with this planet affairs.

A group of Starfleet officers could be seen approaching them. “Is this the convoy escorting the Administration team back to Faltan Station?” Said the lead officer.

The group came to a halt as a woman looked at the person "Yes, we were on our way from another city to avoid any detection from the Red Guards. Are you here to escort us towards the base?" She asked, looking weak and tired from the trip.

The lead Starfleet officer nodded, “Yes. We’ll take up a position behind you and protect you as we move towards the station.” He said before waving his hand at the other 4 Starfleet officers to move passed the convoy.

The woman looked confused at the officer "Do you not belong in front of us? I mean you are security right?" She looked at the passing officers and notice one having a red uniform "You are from command?" She addressed to him and was now even more confused about the whole case that was developing around her.

The Officer in red shook his head but said nothing as he walked passed.

“Don’t worry, Miss, your on safe hands now. We know what we’re doing.” The Officer in charge said as he too headed towards the rear of the convoy.

Confused, she looked at the others and just nodded as confirmation to their confusing looks, looking back at the person "Alright let's get going then...tend to remind me to talk towards the new Captain of the base" She stated and resumed walking towards with the others following her.

“So, have you seen anyone else on your travels?” The lead Starfleet Officer asked, making small talk.

Moving on as the woman looked at him "No, the people that saved us told us to stay hidden. There is little trust at Faltan and I can understand that" The woman shivers at the idea of the mines "No fun...."

The Starfleet officer nodded, “Understandable, is this everyone or is there any other group somewhere?”

"This is everyone, we stick together and be glad to be home" The woman replied with a soft smile "Thank you for helping us..."

“It’s no problem at all. We need to make sure you’re all safe.” The Officer replied as his pace slowed down to fall in line with the other Starfleet Officers. He looked at each of them and nodded. “Now!” They pulled their phasers out and gunned down everyone in the convoy.

After the smoke and dust settled they checked each of the body’s to make sure they were dead. “Starfleet wanted them back so badly, well, they can have ‘em. Let’s go.”
