Mission: Mission 2: Into The Breach
Location: Captain’s Lounge, Command Deck, Falton Station
Timeline: MD01 - 1030 Hours

Refelian was not impressed by Dufrai’s reluctance to return to Faltan Station for debriefing. What put Harry’s nose out of joint, even more, was her failure to report to this mornings briefing. He now waited patiently for his Chief Intelligence Officer to contact him after he pressed the comm device Dufrai had given him when he arrived at Faltan.

It took a while, but suddenly another person appears in the place "Captain" The man stated as anther Lieutenant appeared next to him in the room "I believe you wanted to speak with Dufrai, she is...not available at this current moment sir"

“Where the hell is she?” Refelian demanded. He didn’t have a problem with give his Chief Intelligence Officer free rein to get her job done but when she was ordered to return to base and ignored those orders it really pissed him off.

The man shrugs and looked at Lieutenant Benedict for a more proper response in the matter regarding their leader.

"To be honest, sir, we don't know," Avery said with a frown. "She has gone MIA following an explosion causing a ceiling collapse in a sewer the team was using to escape Red Guard forces."

“What?!” Refelian said, angrily. “Why am I just hearing about this now?”

"Because we were ambushed by three high-value targets sir," The man said "Phantom, Skinner, and Doc is confirmed to be on Faltan. The team was fleeing the scene, yet with no direct exit. Lieutenant Dufrai made the optional sacrifice to hold them back on her own. This was against the wishes of Lieutenant Benedict. But ...she overruled it and held them back as long as she could, but lost when the ceiling collapsed on her"

Refelian sighed, “what about the rest of the Crystal Fruits team?”

"The team was able to retreat to the convoy, badly wounded. Lieutenant Benedict made the judgment call to not return to the city due to the increase of Red Guards and present of the Death Squad member. It would be....suicide to do so" He shrugs and looked at Benedict then back at the Captain "We had to stay quiet for safety reasons, but Lieutenant Dufrai is still MIA and we are yet to retrieve her body if we find it"

The Captain took a deep breath in, “What is your next steps? Surely the retrieval of the Lieutenant’s body should be the upmost importance?”

"Once it is safe to do so, Captain, we will go in and search for her," Avery nodded. "The current atmosphere in that area is quite deadly for us. We are doing what we can."

The man shrugs a bit "I think our priority is not really in retrieving the body, as hard as it might sound the situation in Atuginia is getting absurd out of control. Pleads towards the government from the west district is being ignored and swipe from the desk" He looked at them both "I suggest we continue our operation at the city and hopefully we can retrieve Dufrai body on a later date...at this moment, that area is a graveyard for us"

“What the hell is going on there? I’ve not had a report for a while.” Refelian asked.

"We can't go in full details as of yet, but we manage to bring down the communications down in the western district" He replied "However, we are doing our best to bring down the corruption in this area, as Lieutenant Dufrai would wanted us to"

Harry nodded, “Very well, I’d like a full report on what’s going on as soon as convenient. Is that understood?”

"Understood, Crystal out" With that the two holograms disappear from his room.
