Mission: Mission 1: The Return to Faltan
Location: The Oxford and various ships
Timeline: MD02 - 1500

When his transfer orders came through, the senior staff arranged a "going away" party for Bradley, to be held the next day.
The senior staff was there, including his department chief, Lieutenant Commander Stevens, as well as some of the crew...some he had gotten to know, and in certain cases, as in Ensigns Peg Hays, Patricia Kirby and Julie Simpson, not to mention Lieutenants Leslie Paul, Kelly Baker and Nancy Morgan.
Bradley had arranged to meet with each of them in their quarters the night before the party.

The Oxford captain, Captain Jose Ramirez, gave a speech about Damon, praising him for his work ethic, while wondering how the lieutenant was able to show up for his duty shift every morning, given his "extra-curricular" activies, which grew a loud laugh from those assembled.

The trip to Faltan would take 4 weeks.
The Oxford was to rendezvous with the USS Wahburn. It took a week to meet up with the Washburn. The trip on the Washburn would take a week, then they would rendzvous with the USS Sutherland, another week, then finally rendzvous with the USS Archer which would deliver him to Falton Station.

On each ship, he was allowed the use of the recreation facilities, and in return, he offered his services as a security officer if the need arose.
On the Archer and Sutherland, the first officer, who had read his service file, made overtures to him about transferring to their ship instead. They hinted at a quick promotion to lieutenant commander if he agreed to stay. But he politely declined, and said that he was looking forward to his new assignment.

So most of his free time was spent either in the gym or the ship's lounge. where he met the acquaintances of a few lovely ladies.


Finally, he had arrived at Faltan Station.
His personal belongings had been transported down, and once the ship contacted the station and received permission, he beamed down to begin the next chapter of his life.
