Meeting her little sidekick

Mission: Mission 2: Into The Breach
Location: Faltan Station - Command Building
Timeline: MD01 - 1130

The briefing had just occurred and she was too late to tune into that meeting. But that did not stop Eleanor from meeting the Captain. She had to report towards the man anyway. She walked towards the command area, the operational heart of Faltan and looked around searching for an elder light bearded man as her eyes stopped at someone with Captain pips. She walked towards him and stood at attention as she signs towards the man [Captain Refelian? My name is Lieutenant Phoy, your new Chief Intelligence Officer] A computer, yet soft female voice came from her comm badge as she awaited the response.

Refelian was surprised to hear the words ‘new Chief Intelligence Officer’ when Officer before him signed what she was saying. He’d only just heard of what had happened to Lieutenant Dufrai barely an hour ago. So someone at Starfleet Intelligence was keeping a close eye on the situation here on Faltan. “A pleasure to meet, Lieutenant. I must apologize if I seem a little surprised. I wasn’t expecting you at all. Please, take a pew.” He said offering one of the free seats in front of his desk.

Looking at the pew as she smiled at him [I will stand sir] Eleanor stated a bit awkwardly and looked at him [Starfleet Intelligence has signed of papers recognizing the situation at Faltan and in the Raeya block to be...] She stopped with the sign signaling and thinks [below meeting operational criteria and thus the former Chief Intelligence has to be relocated to the field and stay there to win in more information. I was hoping to meet her here, but I presume she has not returned yet?]

“No, I’m afraid Lieutenant Dufrai is currently MIA, presumed dead.” The Captain replied. He had to agree with Intelligence, there was a much larger picture going on here which needed more manpower. “I presume you are taking over the Intelligence department with immediate effect?”

She went a bit quiet and puzzled a bit with the idea of Dufrai being a status of MIA. Did she miss her again? No, it could not be, again a step ahead [How long is the Lieutenant missing Captain?]

“Three days, but I only found out this morning,” Refelian said with a sigh. “The wheels of Intelligence turn slower when they’re undercover.”

That was quite some time in her perspective and she could understand that the team had to stay low [With your permission, I would like to go towards the team and support them in light duties. I shall return as soon as I can] Eleanor looked at the Captain.

The Captain thought for a moment, perhaps the Crystal Fruits would benefit from some leadership from the Lieutenant. “Very well, assist them any way you can.”

Nodding towards him [I shall, I will report to you as soon as I can in regards to the field status on our operatives. Do you wish anything to be known or done while I am here?] Eleanor looked at the Captain and waited for his response

Refelian shook his head, “No, get Crystal Fruits back on track. Hopefully, Dufrai will show up alive and well. If you need anything let me or Commander Prescott know.”

Saluting the Captain as she bows and made her leave. She had to run by the new intel department before she left the area to investigate the area and see what their status was.
