Mission: Mission 1: The Return to Faltan
Location: Unknown
Timeline: MD15 - 0000

The floor cold, there no wind, no sounds, and darkness was around her. She could feel the warmth of her blood that Sarah was laying in on her back. Her blurry vision could make out that their blue lights around her, she let her head drop to the side and could see the light came from crystals that were embedded into pillars and were dimmed for some odd reason. Where was she? What happened? Was this the gates to hell or heaven? Well if it was, it might be a cruel passage as she could feel the pain of her former fight.

Ahh yes, the fight. Phantom as always so serious about doing a clean job, Doc doing what she thought was right and Skinner hopping on the train to adventure. Well, they have grown from back in the Dominion War. Sarah softly smiled thinking about that time. A time was they were not her enemies, but her friends, her very dear friends that fought at her side against the Dominion. She could feel her life dripping out of her, was this last moments? Alone, in dark and ...what this feeling? Fear? It has been a while to feel that emotion, but it was logical in many ways as she is a human and that emotion made her human.

'Blood covered her hands in the guilt of what was and what had been done'

Hearing that female voice made Sarah blink as tears slowly formed in her eyes. So this was the final voice of her final moment, her mother voice. Heh well it would not surprise her to get a lecture on the final seconds until she passes away from her own mother. The brain works in strange ways and this is just freaking great to get this.

'But, your acts are spoken for itself. You have proven yourself to be able to fight for what right, to make the judgment to save another'

The voice kept speaking in such formal ways it made Sarah wonder. It was not her mother way to speak so, was it maybe someone else in that area of where ever she had woken up at? She rolled at her side feeling the agony of pain piercing through her body making her scream "Fight it Dufrai...this is nothing" She rolled to her stomach with great difficulty and left her head slowly feeling the blood dripping pass her lip to her chin and down onto that cold floor.

'Your will, your focus, and bravery are what got you here in the first place. Some might call it luck, but others might call it destiny. If it is true that the act makes the hero. The question begs, are you the hero of the Falteans?'

Blinking her eyes a few time as the area became more clear for her seeing the dimmed crystal pillars as her eyes stopped at an altar in front of her, she noticed around the altar to be in a circle shape and written in a language she did not know. But the middle of the altar was a blue crystal, hovering above it. Was this some kind of old tech, something that was almost magical.

'You are tainted by history, we have seen into your past, your darkness, your acts and you want to justify what you have done, what you have seen and what you want to return to the galaxy'

Sarah tried her best to stay focused and followed the voice to the side of the altar and saw a flickering image of a hologram woman. The woman was in a dark blue priest clothing, her headband was having some kind of star silver icon as her wrist was having jewelry with silver- and bluebells on it. Every time she moved, Sarah could hear the sound of it and it was rather calming and satisfying "What....are you..."

'I am but mere memory of what could have been, what was and now no longer is. I am what is last to witness the new beginnings. I guide what could have been guided, I protect what should be protected without darkness falling over it'

Slowly pulling herself with her right hand over the stone cold floor towards the alter. Sarah could feel that her shoulder was wrecked, internal bleeding, head injury, back wounds, and some broken ribs. But for some reason she wanted to get closer, closer towards this figure, this alter that was feeling warm and calm to her "I am...Dufrai...I need to return to them"

'To whom, to whom do you wish to return Miss Dufrai? The former friends that smash you down without any consideration or regret? The ones you feel guilty of leaving them behind as you plead in your final moment to run away? Maybe it those that are searching for that love, you cut away to protect them or created to fill the void? Is worth fighting a lost cause?'

"What I did, what I chose...is up to me!" She yelled in tears and pain she pushed herself against the altar and leans against it with her painful shoulder "I made my mistakes, I turned my back against those that have been there to give that I could not return. My life is one dangerous path into the dark forest..." Sarah knew that whatever she was saying, it did not matter, she was going to die anyway, why not pour out her feelings "I regret that I am role model to both my little sister and my daughter. I regret that I turned my back against my comrades that made the wrong choice in their life's. I regret everything I did in the Dominion Wars, but I can't change what has been done..." She could see the woman leaning to her and looking at her with curious eyes.

'Yet you are here, by the ethical and moral choices you have made to protect those you care for. You are here in your final moments, pleading for forgiveness?'

She felt the tears rolling down her cheek and shook slowly her head. Sarah could feel her life force getting lower by the second "I am not, I am simply trying to define myself. I ...am at peace with my choices, with my past and my actions" She slowly started to lose her focus and closed a few times her eyes feeling the blood on her bed getting colder. Only to witness the woman smiling at her.

'Then sleep Miss Dufrai, your battle for Faltean and the Setiupara has just begun...'

With that Sarah lost focus as her head hanged, she could feel a warmed going over her like a blanket was placed over her. What was happening to her was not to describe, but she blacked out to notice what more was happening to her.
