Timeline: MD03 - 2130 Hours

Anika had enjoyed her little time away, but as she was still in charge, she had to get back. It hadn't been long, maybe thirty minutes once she'd actually snuck off with Erikson. And she had eaten dinner in that time, so it was just an early meal break. Flirting with Eveline was fun too. She didn't get any odd looks to her surprise, but it was likely everyone who was on duty wanted to be at the party.

But, at least it was quiet. No security reports, nothing out of the ordinary...that would be reported at least. And what she and Eveline had done earlier would never point back to the two of them, instead pointing to Tendai and M'Mira. The orders had come from them after all.

Slipping into her seat, cup of coffee ready for the rest of her late night shift, she raised an eyebrow when she heard an alert go off. "Incoming distress call, Lieutenant," came someone's voice. Nodding to the officer, Anika listened to the garbled transmission. "Who is that coming from?"

Everyone seemed to be scrambling to figure that out. "The Medway." Her heart sunk. It didn't matter how much trouble she intended to cause, she knew that the Captain had family on that ship. "Do we have anything else?"

"They are on the edge of the system, but that's all we have, Lieutenant." Nodding, Anika put her coffee aside and punched up the com panel. She was still human, and this was going to hit hard for quite a few people.

“Roslyn to Captain Refelian. I’m sorry to interrupt the party, but we are receiving a distress call from the Medway.”
