Timeline: MD05 - 1618

Shannon arrived early as she tended too in the small briefing room in the intel complex. She precisely placed a cup of tea and a PADD down in front of her before taking a seat.

Looking at Shannon as Eleanor walked into the briefing room giving her a slight nod [Ensign, good day] She signed and took place in a chair [Lot has changed while you were briefly in the field. So an update is in its right in the current situation]

She nodded, "I agree Ma'am.". It had felt a bit disjointed lately a solid briefing would help secure footing as it were.

[What do you desire to know first? There are various points that can be discussed that are of interest to you] Eleanor signed to the woman and wonders how much interest she had to really know what was going on with Faltan III or its region.

Shannon smiled quietly, "My mother always said starting at the beginning was generally a good idea. Would that be possible?"

Blinking at that as she signs [Well there is no real beginning to what is going on at Faltan, everything is out of place so to speak. We got the Romulan Embassy that got attacked, we got the kidnapping of the Romulan Ambassador wife, who is now safely back. We got the attack on the Klingon Ambassador ship, the crass of the USS Medway at one of the outer rim planets in Faltan System. So much going on....]

Shannon nodded, "I see. What are the current priorities I should focus on, perhaps that would be better to dial in on?" She asked making notes of what to review later.

[Take your pick Ensign, the place is a nutcase around here...] Eleanor blinks and looked at the PADD for a second [You can maybe continue the investigation of Medway crash. Speak to Commander Tendai about it, she just returned from the location and knows more about it. We need all data from that ship, no but]

Shannon nodded they did seem to have a preponderance of situations. She wondered if they would be getting more assistance soon. "I will do so." She said making a note to follow up with Commander Tendai. Then taking her Chief at her word moved on, "With your permission, I would like to combine and analyze available data to contrast and compare elements unless that has already been done in regards to the kidnapping and attacks? Should I have time beyond the crash investigation, of course." She looked at her Chief with intentness of focus as plans flowed around her mind.

Nodding to her as Eleanor signed [That sounds like a good first step, do what is required to gather the information and Commander Tendai is a pretty open person. She will help where she can] Eleanor smiled softly at her [Anything else you wish to know?]

"Not at this time Ma'am unless you have more for me?" She said, appreciating her Chief took the time to fill her in personally when others would have just sent a message. She had a thread to pull on now. Nothing she loved more than unraveling a mystery.

Eleanor blinks a few times then nods [Alright, you are dismissed. Keep me posted on the Klingon investigation] With that Eleanor stood up and gave Shannon a slight nod as she took her leave to continue her work.
