Mission 2: Into The Breach
Location: Hangar Bay
Kristiina Petlota walked down the unloading ramp and finally set foot on Faltan III soil. Well, technically it was tarmac in the hangar bay but the sentiment was still there.
She run her right hand through her hair slightly revealing the slight point to her ear. As quick as it was seen it was covered up again by her dark flowing brown hair. She wore her trademark black leather jacket, tight dark jeans and thick soled safety boots.
Her crew had already been working to unload their cargo that Starfleet had also requested they take to Faltan Station along with the stations new Strategic Operations Chief, Commander Hunt. Petlota found him cute but would never admit that to anyone.
She picked up a PADD with her ship's manifest. “Is all this off?” She asked.
“Almost.” Dilig replied, Kristiina’s Suliban Operations Officer. “Rakrax has just gone to get the last few crates from the hold.”
Kris nodded, “Great work, guys. Get this done by 1200 hours and you can take the rest of the day off.” She said with a smirk as she patted Silig on the shoulder.
“And if we don’t get it done by 1200 hours?” Izu Arr asked as he moved the already unloaded crates into the position they were told.
“Then, my Bajoran friend, you all get to clean the ship. Bow to stern.” Kristiina said with a devilish smile. “There’s some paintwork that needs touching up too.”
“Hurry up, Rakrax!” He called out. “The first drink is on you if move your bulk quicker!” Izu called out.
“Looks like the welcoming committee are on there way.” Nelax called down. He was stood on top of the Rose, taking the opportunity of the ship being planetside to do some well earned maintenance. “Looks like you got their attention, Cap. Four security bods.”
“Four?!” She said in shock. “I’m insulted! My reputation alone should have at least eight. Silig, how do I look?”
“Like a bitch?” The Suliban replied with a shrug.
“Excellent.” She replied before turning to the approaching security team. “Can I help you gentleman?” She asked gentleman.
The security team came to a stop but the teams leader a human Ensign took a few more steps forward. “We’re looking for Miss Petlota?” He asked.
“Miss! Miss!” She said in a firm tone before turning to her crew. “They sent an Ensign and he called me Miss!”
“The boy obviously has a death wish.” Nelax commented as he continued to work.
Rakrax, the large Reman Tactical Officer finally emerged from the ship carrying the last 3 containers. He placed them down before eyeballing the security team.
“I don’t run my own ship and company to be called Miss by some jumped up security guard.” Kristiina said firmly. “Call me, Captain.” She demanded.
The young Ensign looked a little worried after seeing the large Reman appear along with Petlota’s ear bashing. “My apologies, C-Captain.” He said after swallowing hard. “Could you come with us please? We need to ask you some questions.”
“Everyone wants to ask me questions, lad. Why are yours so different?” Petlota asked, raising her right eyebrow.
“Erm, it’s regarding Tallonian crystals which have gone missing. The Tallonian government have asked us to question you about this.” He said nervously.
“Go get a warrant then we’ll talk. Until then bugger off and bug someone of your own rank.” Kristiina said before turning around to walk off.
“No! You’re under arrest!” The Ensign pulling out his phaser, the rest of his team did the same. “Come with us or I’ll be forced to stun you.”
“Blow me.” She said as she began to walk off.
Suddenly the Ensign lunged at Petlota and grabbed her arm. “You’re coming with me!” He shouted.
Without thinking Kristiina spun around punched the Ensign square in the nose. Instantly breaking it and spurting blood all over his face. He screamed in pain as he left go of her arm and fell to the floor. The three other guards rushed Petlota and wrestled her to the ground.
The Reman, Rakrax, was just about to head when Kristiina slow shook her head at him. She allowed herself to chuffed and carried out of the hangar to taken to the brig.
