Mission: Mission 3: Diplomacy, what’s that?
Location: Station Medical Bay

[ON]

Hudson had been completing inventory stock and accountability measures ever since discovering that his bio mimetic gel solvents were essentially "skimmed" off their canisters in storage. Security was still determining how this could happen, and what technology, whose technology would have done so.

While he had been immersed in his work. Hudson was surprised to see that there was a Lieutenant standing at the doorway, as a Nurse had ushered the man in to sit on a bio bed.

"Doctor Hudson, we have Lieutenant Rohan Read here for his statutory clearance physical." Nurse Akasha reported.

"Of course, thank you Akasha." Tristian was reminded all at once. The new officer onboard the station, Chief of Strategic Operations.

Tristian donned his white lab coat, as he exited his Medical Office with a padd and a medical tricorder in hand. He had Nurse Akasha secure a standard medical cart to have it brought to the bio bed, that Lieutenant Read was seated on.

"Ah. Lieutenant Rohan. Chief of Operations. Welcome to Faltan Station," he shook his head. "Or, rather base. I still don't understand why we're classified as a Station?" He shrugged. "I am Dr. Hudson. It is good to meet you Lieutenant." He extended his hand for a firm shake.

"Strategic Operations." Rohan corrected as he took the Doctors hand and gave it a firm shake. "A pleasure to meet you, Doctor. I hope this is a good time, if not I can return later."

"Ah. Of course. My apologies Commander Read. Strategic Operations." As he had asked him to take off his jacket coat, and shirt. "Call me old fashioned, but I still believe a physical requires taking off ones clothing. You may keep your under shorts on though." He nodded to Read.

Scanning him with his tricorder, Dr. Hudson asked. "Anything to report regarding your physical health, Commander?" He had begun. The medical tricorder was easily accessing the man's healthy state. Tristian didn't think there would be any issues, however, this was why there was a statutory medical clearance.

"Tell me, Sir. What are the current strategic plans? If you say you'd have to kill me, in telling me. Then we're cool." Hudson chuckled to himself as he looked at his medical tricorder readouts.

Read frowned, "It's Lieutenant and no, nothing recently. All my past medical problems should be in my file." He said as he watched the Doctor scan him. "I'm afraid I can't divulge to much information but I'm here to help in the eventual transfer to the space station being built at the edge of the system."

"Of course." He smiled, then dropped it. "Lieutenant." Tristian checked and re-checked his plasma, cbc, androgens, statin levels... Everything was quite good. "Sir, Lieutenant." He cleared his throat. "You are fit, and cleared for duty." Hudson then closed his medical tricorder, and placing it on the side of the medical cart. "Thank you for being prompt."

"Not at all. I know what's it's like when you're chasing people for medicals. I used to enjoy the chase in my academy days but now I just can't be bothered. Would rather get it over and done with." Read replied candidly.

"Medical is a necessary annoyance. I understand. You are busy as it is, but I am happy you had come to get your physical completed none the less, Lieutenant. I shall see you around the base, take care." He offered a smile.

"Indeed, Doctor." Read said with a nod before dismissing himself.
